Explore Cooperation, Jambi UM Visits Sarolangun Regency Government

UM Jambi- Muhammadiyah Jambi University ( UM Jambi ) with the Ecological Justice CAPPA foundation ( COOKER HOOD ) visit the district government ( district government ) Sarolangun. The Jambi UM delegation with CAPPA was welcomed directly by the Acting Regent ( Pj ) Sarolangun with his staff in the Main Pattern Room of the Sarolangun Regent's Office.
Events that take place on Thursdays 23 June 2022 is a friendship agenda and explores the potential for cooperation in regional potential development and human resource development. UM Jambi submitted several cooperation proposals to the district government. Sarolangun in the meeting.
Jambi UM Rector, Dr. Nurdin S.E., M.E accompanied by Dr. Irmanely ( Vice Chancellor I ), Dr. Indria Mayesti ( Vice Chancellor II ) Dr. And Salim ( Head of BPH UM Jambi ), Ahmad Jumaidi ( Secretary of BPH UM Jambi ) say thank you to the Acting Regent of Sarolangun, Mr Henrizal, SPT, MM together with the ranks of the Sarolangun district government who have accepted our arrival. Maksud dan tujuan rombongan UM Jambi bersama yayasan CAPPA Keadilan Ekologi adalah untuk menjajaki potensi kerjasama, mengingat UM Jambi adalah lembaga pendidikan yang perlu dan wajib melakukan caturdarma perguruan tinggi, Pengajaran, Research, pengabdian, Al Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan. Kami berupaya membangun sinergisitas dengan Pemkab Sarolangun terutama dalam bidang penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Penelitian dan pengabdian ini merupakan upaya dari UM Jambi dalam membangun dan mengembangkan potensi daerah maupun sumber daya manusia di sarolangun.

Pj. Bupati Sarolangun Henrizal, SPT, MM menyambut baik silaturahim ini dan mengungkapkan rasa terimakasih kepada UM Jambi dan Yayasan CAPPA Keadila Ekologi yang telah berkunjung ke kabupaten sarolangun dan telah peduli dengan kondisi daerah dan masyarakat di Sarolangun. In essence, the Sarolangun Regency Government always welcomes with open arms any efforts from any party who has the desire to build and develop Sarolangun., but the Sarolangun district government needs time to review the proposal that has been submitted by UM Jambi together with the CAPPA Ecological Justice Foundation.

On the same occasion, the Director of the CAPPA Foundation for Ecological Justice Muhammad Zuhdi conveyed several things related to the program being carried out by the CAPPA foundation, namely social forestry assistance from the Ministry of Environment.. One of the activities carried out by CAPPA is assistance to farmers managing social forestry in cultivating their land for planting lemongrass which has high economic potential.. One of the areas being assisted by CAPPA is in the Mandiangin sub-district.

Dr. Agus Salim as chairman of BPH UM Jambi said that BPH UM Jambi always supports all activities of UM Jambi which are constructive and bring progress and benefit to UM Jambi. Such friendship needs to be done often because establishing a friendship is a religious guidance, especially when it is accompanied by a shared commitment to advancing the Ummah., it's so awesome.
